Please review the following Terms and Conditions carefully. By purchasing from JD Constriction LLC you automatically agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Animals: All animals are guaranteed healthy, feeding, and correctly sexed. If you are not satisfied, JD Constriction will replace the animal as long as notification is received within 24 hours from the animal’s time of arrival and the animal arrives safely back at JD Constriction and is in good health.  Shipping is non-refundable.  Please inspect your shipment upon delivery. If you fail to pick up your order (for airport delivery or local hub pickup) within 2 hours of the package becoming available or are not present to sign for delivery at the first delivery attempt of the carrier, all guarantees are void and the sale becomes final. Refunds are made at JD Constriction's discretion and can be made as cash, credit, or a combination of cash and credit at JD Constriction's discretion. If the animal(s) you purchased were paid for through a payment plan, your initial deposit is non-refundable as agreed to in the terms of the payment plan itself.

Genetics: Genetics are 100% guaranteed for the life of the animal. If available, all ball pythons are sold with feeding/record charts and genealogical data. Genetic documentation is available which consists of a photographic image of the animal stating the genetics contained within the animal on this webpage for every animal sold. Color images of every animal sold are retained so that if the animal is re-sold, future buyers can verify the specifics of the animal directly from JD Constriction, all can be accessed through this website. For more information on any of the animals for sale or that have been sold, please do not hesitate to call or e-mail.

Payments: JD Constriction currently accepts payment by cashier's check, money order, credit card via paypal or google checkout, personal check, Visa, Mastercard or business check. Please make payments out to JD Constriction LLC. Payment in full is required prior to shipment and all payments must clear before shipment.
 
Shipments: Shipments are sent via Fed Ex Priority Overnight as JD Constriction is certified to ship live reptiles. Per every contract with Fed Ex for live reptile shipment, all shipments must be delivered to the local Fed Ex hub for pick up or to a commercially zoned address, no exceptions (no residential shipments are allowed).  JD Constriction ships to your nearest local hub to ensure the safety of the animal and requires pickup within 2 hours of the local hub opening or the package arriving to the local hub, whichever is later.  After 2 hours all guarantees are null and void. Shipments are appropriately and professionally packaged, utilizing insulated shipping boxes, snake bag(s), and hot/cold packs as necessary.
  Shipments may also be sent out via shipyourreptiles.com by JD Constriction.  However, if the following restrictions aren't met then all guarantees are null and void: Package value must be less than $500, The package must be delivered at 10:30 am or earlier, Buyer must be present to sign for delivery at the first delivery attempt of the carrier, no exceptions.

  Shipping charges run anywhere from $40 to $80 for delivery to your door anywhere in the continental United States. Shipments are sent out on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday for the safety of the animal and to help guarantee the animal will get to you as soon as possible. Shipments will be sent out at JD Constriction’s discretion and will not be sent out during extreme hot or cold weather to ensure the best possible travel conditions for the animal(s).

  Shipments can be sent via Delta Dash or any other service but extra shipping costs, including travel costs to the airport, may apply.

  While no one wants shipping delays to happen sometimes unfortunately they do. When scheduling shipments with JD Constriction be sure that your receiving schedule can accommodate a delay if it should happen.  JD Constriction will do everything possible to accommodate your receiving schedule if a delay should happen, including calling to have the package held at another hub or arranging other options.  Even with a delay, failure to pick up your order within 2 hours of when it becomes available at the local hub or failure to be present to sign for delivery at the first delivery attempt of the carrier voids all guarantees and the sale becomes final.

  While DOAs (Dead On Arrival) are rare, sometimes they unfortunately happen.  In the event of a DOA JD Constriction must be contacted within 2 hours of receipt of the animal and the animal must be frozen and safely shipped back to JD Constriction so that the animal can properly be identified (photos of the animal are not allowed).  If the animal is properly identified and the cause of death is deemed to be the result of initial shipment JD Constriction will gladly replace the animal if another is available or refund the purchase.  JD Constriction will refund the return shipping charges for all properly identified DOA animals.  No other method of identification of the animal other than return shipment will be honored and without proper identification the sale will be considered final.

 

Reservations: Reservations can be made for current in stock animals or for potential offspring by making a 25% non-refundable deposit. Once the deposit is received and the payment is verified the animal is marked as sold with you listed as the buyer. Full payment is due within 30 days of JD Constriction receiving the deposit or within 30 days of the animal becoming sellable, whichever comes later. Payment periods lasting more than 30 days require a payment plan. Without a payment plan, after 30 days the reservation is no longer valid and the buyer forfeits their deposit to JD Constriction.

 

Payment Plans: Payment plans can be made for any animal or group of animals. Short and long term payment plans are available.

After selecting an animal, a written contract is provided to the buyer, signed by JD Constriction LLC, with the agreed terms of the payment plan that are agreed upon by BOTH JD Constriction and the buyer. After the deposit and a copy of the contract signed by the buyer are received by JD Constriction, the animal(s) will be marked as sold. Payments are then made per the contract until the contract is paid off. Once the contract is paid in full, the animal(s) will be shipped at JD Constriction’s earliest convenience.

While payments are being made your animal(s) will be cleaned and fed in the same way all of the animals at JD Constriction are. Pictures, weights, or other info can be sent to the buyer within reason. All payment plans must follow the contract agreed upon by JD Constriction LLC and the buyer, no exceptions.

 

Trades: Trades can be made on a situation by situation basis and involve a contract similar to a payment plan. In most all instances JD Constriction will require the animal being received in the trade to be shipped first and after receiving the animal JD Constriction will then ship to you.
